The Art of Timing for Social Media

By Agent Image / Updated July 14, 2016 / Published January 07, 2014 / 3 min read

Timing is a crucial factor in whatever we do. Oftentimes the timing is what constitutes a victory. Boxers use timing in landing perfectly placed blows on their opponents which ultimately leads to victory. Mergers and major buyouts always occur when the timing is good. So who's to say that timing is not effective when it comes to real estate marketing?

Marketing campaigns can be tricky this way since there are several factors that need to be considered before even dishing out the actual content. The biggest dilemma every marketer has faced off when it comes to posting their materials on social networks is whether to post during mornings or evenings. Both options have equal pros and almost have the same disadvantage. When posting in the morning or during daytime, the engagement and visibility is high. You can go to the bank with that statement. The problem here lies in the fact that there's so much activity during the daytime there's the risk that your materials won't be seen. The evening is the complete opposite. You will definitely get the visibility that you want but there's a drastic drop in engagement and interaction.

Also remember to check your Facebook Insights and Twitter stats (we recommend Hootsuite for this) to see what times your followers are active and engaging with your page. Based on your stats, work on scheduling out your posts in Facebook and other social sites on the best times shown in your stats. If you have a budget for Facebook ads, try allotting some money to boost your posts for better exposure. You also have to really understand who your target audience really is and what your goals are for the material that you are posting online. Clarity and organization are key factors. You really just can't go flying blind without any plan.

Speaking of flying blind there are companies out there who will never let you go solo on a marketing campaign or leave your website looking bland and dull. One pristine example is Agent Image who also offers a free consultation for both new and existing customers. If you want to hear what they have to offer visit their website at www.agentimage.com

Why Website Ownership Makes a Difference in the Age of AI Search

In 2026, the most important decision an agent makes about their website isn’t how it looks. It’s who actually owns it.
